I saw a farm safety film a few years ago, on this very subject.....the film was made by a insurance co.....they ran several differen't tractors across a incline that got steeper as it went along....tractor test was run in pairs....same make ,with narrow and wide front....no safety differance,the narrow tipped and rolled --- the wide would tip at the same place,hit the stop on the front axel,this tossed the driver off and soon after the tractor rolled......their consern was the driver of the wide front felt more secure and took more chances...........The real differance came in whith the style of the tractor...."low center of gravity".....like a 8n Ford or I-300 Farmall.........I hope this helps you decide.....
