Bill - Looked at a BN fitted with an alternator at a show last weekend . Appeared they used the old generator bracket and fitted the alternator onto it using a piece of threaded rod and some properly spaced nuts for the pivot. Didn't look close enough to see how they tensioned the belt - believe however they cobbed slotted tension arm from a junkyard part. Bob
