just recently got an "H" engine together that was torn apart about 5 years ago...got it as a basket case, and amazingly ..all engine parts were still in the pile...fired her up this afternoon for the first time...she runs very well...my question however is with the carb. I printed adjustment instructions someone had posted on this forum a couple of days ago, and I took the carb apart and cleaned every thing really good, then reassembled and every thing looked fine. however after I got her running....and she continues to run ok, I wanted to "fine tune" the carb, neither the idle rich, or the main jet adjust seems to have any affect on it at all.All the way in or out, no difference. I've only ran her for maybe 5 minutes at a time so far, but she is full warm. what am I missing ?
