You can just get the big nut at a bone yard. I did the same thing on my M. Replacement cost was around $10. You'll need to take the fan assembly off to do it..it can be taken apart from the left side... not much room, but it can be done... If your water pump is leaking a little, this would be a good time to tighten the packing, or add another packing washer.
