N.J., I have done brakes on two H's in the last two years and the M's are identical. When you are ready to do the brakes ,e-mail me and I'll give you lots of info. I got a print out from my Case-I-H dealer showing all the brake parts and the parts numbers. They still can supply you with all parts for a brake job. There is also a possibility that the brakes just need to be cleaned and set and they would be functionable. You will know when you remove the brake pans(covers). M's are great old brutes..I pulled 4 tons of corn up the barn hill with the M and the governors didn't even tweek..it just idled up the gangway....Good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario
