hi njwilliams what i am abought to say is what i now from working with my two H's. first of all the two tractors are the same thing almost with the only real difrence is that the M is scaled up a bit. the hydaulics are powered by a pump that can be found under the tractor right below the front half of the gas tank. there are two holes in the frame on the right an one on the left, these are your outlets, sorry if you are on the tractor then there are the two hole on the left and one on the right. also when on top on the right side just in front of the pully there is a hole on top of the frame, this is for you vent/hydrofill. the hydaulics for the tractors was set up for a single acting hydraulic piston, meaning that when the pump is on the piston lifts the attatced item and when the pump is off gravity pulls the item down. this will not be go if you plan to have a three point hitch, i think a three point hitch is very usefull ing a farming operation, but may not be for someone that is looking to say mow a couple of arcers or use for say gardening. not knowing what your intentions are for the use of this great tractor i will asume that you would still buy the tree point any way. in order to make the hydaulics useable for three point you will have to first run an outlet hose that will run to a contol valve,{best place to mount would be on the shift tower in front of shift lever and mount it on the right hand side, this is cuase it is ez to look back at what you are contoling as you are doing so} then you will need to run an out let hose away from the valve back to the pump. {note the valve outlet hose must run to the fill hole on top meaning that you will tave to add a tee in the fill pipe}after that then you are able to run hoses to the three point. i would buy a two control valve system, this is so you can run a duel acting piston on the trailing impalment it makes live a little simpler but can cost up to $200 just to do this. to hook up just the three piont hydaulics in this maner will cost around $150 if done right.
