Back in the 1970's and early 80's, I had a M and two super M's. The super M's,one was gas,one diesel.The two super M's both had tractor supply 3 pt. hitchs on them,weights and fluid in rear tires. I used two a three bottom 16" John Deere plows, 3pt hitch. The super MD would pull it in 3rd with no problem. The gas would pull it also in 3rd but with a strain and in same field would go down to 2nd. The regular M also had a 3pt hitch, but 3-16's was a load for it in 2nd gear.
