I have a Farmall 300 row crop with a wide front and saginaw 3pt hitch. It is a great tractor. They are very easy to find in my neck of the woods(MN). I bought mine from the local junk dealer and restored it. It's definitely cheaper to buy one that's already in running condition and fix it up. Parts are easy to find. The only expensive things to watch out for is the T/A and hydraulic pump. I rebuilt mine from top to bottom, bearings, seals, gaskets, etc. I use this tractor on my dads hobby farm, and it is holding up fairly well. If you're looking for a 300, try to find one with a fast-hitch and powersteering. You can add an extra hydraulic spool valve and outputs fairly easily (max is three).
