WELCOME to my world chad, i hate that darn hand throtal on my 1946. it has the block type that the red talks of but mine is rounded out and constatly slips. just try to look back at a haybine and hold the throtal and the wheel, dont work to well. for a quick fix if you need it before you can replace it try holding it in place with a vicegrips {mind you i havn't done this one my self so it may not work} if you try this post the results i and a a couple of other's out here would be iterested in it.
