OK so i need a new piston i think that what i have in there is called a stepped head but am not sure. i am woundering if any one out there has one from a parts trator or maybe a spare that they could part with cheap. and if you do get back to me quick before dad gets his hands on this tractor. last night he told me to put it back together and run it as is he said "it should go a year or two befor it would need to be replaced" then he said he was temped to take it in and weld on it. i think the old boy has lost his mind for sure. buy the way it was a head of a bolt that ended up in tdhe piston not the whole bolt that i had thouht any knowage of were that darn thing came off of it is a 1/4 head bolt with what i think looks like a 5 hardness marking on top.
