Heath, I think I'll try your idea first. I can always get rougher with it if I have to. I don't want to ruin anything. While we're on the subject, this muffler is black, has an IH symbol, and has "74" stamped on it. Ya'll think that is the original muffler? Thanks for all the advice everyone.
