If you have spark to the plug, is the spark getting through the plug. Try a substitute plug. If that doesn't work, pull the valve cover off and inspect the valve movement and clearance in the tappets. Did this start suddenly? Also, a compression check will tell you a lot about the valve operation, if you have a tester handy.
