First do a compression check on that cylinder. Pull all plug wires off; pull #3 plug out and turn the engine over using the starter. If you have a compression gauge read and compare the compression on all of the cylinders. If you don't have a gauge; just put your thumb over the #3 plug hole and see if she's blowing air. If you have little or no comp., pull your valve cover off and check the exhaust and intake valves of #3. You might have a busted spring , hopefully nothing worse than that. My Super MTA had a exhaust valve that was way out of adjustment when I bought it; had zero compression out of #4 cyl. E-mail me if you need some more help.
