You can add a carb off a m but it will need some work to be made wright for the cubic inch of the engine as a stricht m carb will over fuel , you can do some head work and install larger valves and mill off around .030 to .040 if it has not been done before other wise the water ports get to big to seal you can get the cam redone and install new lifters because i am sure your cam is woren also playen with cam timing helps.but remember that it is only a small motor. Now i did not say this but you could get creative and pull the belly pump and install a pinto trans up in there and get a bunch of extra gears if done wright so you could SPLIT 1st and 2nd This has been done before and done so neatly that it tooks us tow years to figure out how this one guy was beating everybody with Farmall H and never ran out of power . BUT now REMEMBER I DID NOT TELL YOU.
