Only bad thing I know about a 1066 is that they quit making them. Without the cab, one of my most favorite tractors for looks and performance. Check to see if it has the coolant filter - the DT400 series engines had a habit of cavitation if the coolant was not properly serviced. The filter took care of it, or else changing the coolant every couple of years. Transmission and rearend are strong on these. Some people have a problem with the TA. (original TA in our 1086 lasted 7500 hours)
