The main jet (the lower one) is probably dirty. Best to get a carbuetor repair kit. Main jet is set at wide open throttle with the engine warm. --turn it in until rpm decreases (runs rough), then open until engine runs smooth, maybe a quarter turn, you want it as lean as possible. The idle speed screw is the top one, the one below it is idle mixture. Adjust the top one to the proper rpm, adjust the lower one so that the engine runs smoothly.
