Casered,

Give me a hint as to who you could be - not that many case guys to pick from. It sounds like you're a central PA puller - right? Actually ours is a 361 block out of an 806, and not a 466. It is punched out pretty good as you mentioned above. We went with the 361 for something a little different. Hopefully some super M gears this winter will help give us a little more wheel speed to keep up with the other one. There's a new M out there with a "big red" industrial motor (started aorund 504 cubes??) in it that's got more power than anything around I think - especially non-turbo - it just needs to get it to the track. I wish we could see the old case 400 with the 451 turbo out again that has been sitting idle for the past 3 or 4 years - that would sure mix things up I think. A 560 is also in the works in the area with a similar "big red" only it is around 450 cubes - at least to start. I think that the open divisions around Central PA are going to be pretty fun to watch next summer. We just need to get them all together instead of just a few here and a few there.

Take care, and have fun.

Today's Featured Article - The Cletrac General GG and the BF Avery A - A Bit of History - by Mike Ballash. This article is a summary of what I have gathered up from various sources on the Gletrac General GG and the B. F. Avery model A tractors. I am quite sure that most of it is accurate. The General GG was made by the Cleveland Tractor Company (Cletrac) of Cleveland, Ohio. Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac. ... [Read Article]
