You could have a wide front on the cotton picker M when it was being used as a tractor. However, when the tractor was set up to go under the cotton picker you would equip it with the 7:50 x 20 single wheel and bull gears. Most all M's in the Delta were equipped with the regular dual tricycle front for regular use. You very seldom ever saw a M with a wide front axle. It was in the 60's before wide front axles began to become popular in the Mississippi Delta. Harold H
