ONly animal I have ever hit has been a possum. Going to work one night in the 77 nova we used to have, he was in the middle of the road and stood up on his hind legs just in time for me to plow over thim. I can still hear that thump, thump thump as he went under the car. A neighbor down the road had a horse to jump in front of his Dodge 1 ton 4x4 dually one night going to work. Never saw the damage but it tore it up pretty good. To bad we can't get the ex wives to jump in front of cars, huh?
