Pat, I have been using a Freeman loader on my "H" that came off an "M" originally. With no power steering, it is a battle of man against machine to try to turn it. (I dream of having 3 point hitch, power steering, wide front and dual hydraulics ... but Farmall didn't make em to be easy on the farmer.) The seals on the cylinders are a main point to watch. Also, when you go to using it, the seals in your pump will be tested as well. Be careful when you have the bucket high... I ran over a clod with one rear wheel while loading silage into a truck and almost tipped the whole affair over. They say that a wide front isn't that much advantage over a tricycle because the front axle is free to pivot and offers little lateral support. I don't know... it LOOKS a lot more stable to me. I gave $300 for my "H" and $300 for my Freeman loader, but that was about 10 years ago. Hope this helps.... Respectfully, Johnny Angel
