Remove the 4 bolt cap and inspect the bottom of the cap. If you have any gear marks in the cap, take it to a machine shop and have it surfaced ground. You will need a new paper thin gasket from IH. While the cap is off, remove the static gear and then check for any wiggle on the gear that is on the drive shaft. This is also a good time to get a new pressure spring.
