George, I like your taste in airplanes. Lots of Aeronca time but never owned one. I used to have a 1949 170A and currently have a 1953 180. Do you still have your 170? I always wanted a Bamboo Bomber but never really got serious about one. When I bought my 170 I was actually looking for a 140 and when I bought my 180 I was actually looking for another 170, so if the trend holds, if I ever buy another plane I will probably be looking for another 180 and buy a 195. I love round engines as long as somebody else has to feed them. Antique planes are fun but antique tractors and cars are much less expensive, if any hobby can be called inexpensive. Harold H
