4 '' pistons will help. but , make sure they are 2.5 '' in compression hieght. The extra 1/2 inch will raise your compression a bunch and you will still be able to run pump gas. Have your carb done by Matt at MOTEC. The f-20 carb is a very good carb but is under flowed for pulling. Also remove the breather stems from the head and plug them . Make sure you have the slow tranny with 3rd gear on top. And 28'' tires or shorter. You will get by a stock JD A , but if in heavier classes and 88 olivers it will take more. I have been thinking of selling mine. It is 4.625x5 puting it at 336 cubes.
