for your response. That is just what it was. My neighbor was able to figure it out this past weekend. He bent the the float to make it fall down alittle lower. I guess the new neddle valve was a little longer than the one before it. With new points it now will start with the hand crank when cold. This is good because I still have not solved the problem with the starter. -- Martin
