Might want to check the fields. I have an H that we've had for years. It has ALWAYS turned over slowly. We always blaimed it on the high compression pistons in it. I took the starter off a couple of years ago to have it cleaned & the bushings & brushes serviced. When I went to get it from the shop, I talked to the mechanic to see what all he'd had to do. He told me & said "Oh by the way, I had to re-solder one of the fields - looked like it had been loose for a long time. DA - probably since it had been installed @ factory, cause it starts better than it has for the last 50 years that I've been around it. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
