All the bracing is 1/2" except the "Y" shaped pair that lifts the blade which is 3/8". The plate that attaches to the clutch housing is 3/8". Good Idea to brace to the rear drive from the pivot. Around the pivot is the weak point. The downward "u" that the long pivot pin goes through tends to bend. The arm from the rockshaft to the lift point runs a little close to the side of the radiator. I'd leave more clearance, but keep in mind the headlight. Let me know if you'd like me to email a PDF copy of the A 60 manual. David
