Just finished one, rebuild kit was $479, included pistons, rings, pins, pin bushings, full gasket set, valves, guides, springs and locks, main and rod bearings. Machine shop was $550, bored block, turned crank, milled head, reconditioned rods and reamed and fit pins to bushings, ground valves, installed guides, cleaned and magnafluxed block and head. After the carb kit, plugs, tune up kit, oil etc. I have about $1100 in it.
