IH built the 186 Hydro from 1977 to 1981. This was the replacement for the Hydro 100, which had replaced the 966 Hydro. The Hydro 186 had a D436 engine, and dual speed PTO. IH built 4055 of the 186 Hydros in its production run. The 186 Hydro are nice tractors that are now commanding a premium price with livestock producers.
