If you talk to car guys about restoration or concours restoration - they have the exactly correct paint splatters and overspray, the correct date code on the battery, wires, etc.

If you were going to "restore" a tractor to factory you would not be able to put in overbore kits or step-head pistons, or modify in any other way. My H has step head overbore pistons, aftermarket manifold, etc. It is not restored.

It's all a matter of opinion. My $0.02 worth.
