It depends who you are talking to. Restored means widely different things to different people. I've seen plenty of tractors at shows that I would not consider "restored", just fixed up some. To some people, "restored" means everything put to original condition.
The same thing though, goes for term "original condition". There are plenty of debates over just what is "original". Some would paint a tractor and call it "restored". The very act of applying a coat of modern paint makes a tractor better than "original" since even the cheapest paint of today is far better then what was used 60 years ago. Some folks don't consider it a restoration unless every seal, bearing and gasket are replaced. OK, but if I put in a viton seal it sure isn't "original" because "original" would require a leather one.
I avoided the whole argument with my B when I went over it by having a plaque made that says "Refurbished".
It's all semantics anyway.
