Thanks everyone for your input, I have replaced Every seal and gasket on the tractor that exists, for the fact that I dont want ugly oil leaks and oil running off of things, I think this gives for poor looks. So i replaced them all ! I have rebuilt the engine compltely, with over 1,000 invested in the engine, and this was doing all of the work my self except for machine work. I have taken the time to fill any and all pits in the sheet metal and cast iron, and then prime each piece individually, making sure that each piece looks brand new. It has all aftermarket internall engine parts as the IH parts are extremely expensive. I have put on a lot of aftermarket parts such as seat springs, gaskets and seals, exhaust manifold etc. I am still working on it having more body work to do , tire replacement and hopefully paint soon. I think from everyones input I can call my tractor restored ? when it is done. This is my first restoration, and I hope to do another after this one. come on guys this has been a ton of work so far can I call it restored ? even though it has some aftermarket parts ?
