We've got an ancient Allis Chalmers B that always wanted to run hot and boil over. It was finally decided that the head had so much gunk in it that it had flaked off and covered up the water passages leading into the head. Tryed to clean it out with a magnet, etc, several times but it just kept on crudding up again. I believe we finally had it boiled out and the problems quit. The point of my story is that you may have plugged water passages that no amount of flushing will take care of, you would have to pull the head and look at things.
