I lost a Cub, A, B, C, H, Super H, M and Super M in a fire in 1989. It is devastating to lose something you are trying to preserve. We are caretakers regardless of the cost, IH is not making any more of them. It is not a total loss. Heads are probably OK, cranks, and transmission gears. If possible, dissasemble the tractors and salvage what parts are still good. Wheel clamps, for instance, manifolds and oil pumps. Most fires are so fast that lots of the iron does not get too hot. Some of mine had sagged frame rails but oil in the transmission. Save the old rims. The unwarped parts are great for cutting sections out of to fix liquid damage on other rims. My wife wanted to bury mine but I am still using parts from them. The fire was not my fault, but I still lost the tractors and I keep them lined up to remind me.
