After reading though eveyone elses posts, I thought of something that is the easiest way to tell if you have a blockage. I have a 44 Farmall M and I too have done work on the coolant system of mine. Whether you have a pressurized system or not, you will be able to tell if your getting good flow by dropping your coolant level even with the fan channels and running her with the cap off to see if you are getting good flow or not. Keep in mind that you would still have flow if you only had a partial blockage, but at least this way your checking something simple without completly breaking down your coolant system. Either way I would think about getting a flush or boiling your system out. Look at it this way, it can only help you in the long run.
