the reason im asking had a salesman at a local dealer(baxla tractor jim johnson salesman) tell me the market has fell out of the ih tractors and a good 5488 wont bring 8000 bucks, i say i would buy 2 or three at that price, i was gonna trade my 5488 in on a new new holland tractor , but dont feel like takin the hosen there trying to give me on my 5488, now if there only worth 8 grand to heck with a new holland tractor ill buy another ih , paul yates
