I went back into the drain plug on my H. Here is a diagram of where to drill an extra hole if you would like to go that route. I recommend removing the pump to be sure the shavings are out of it if you go with the extra hole. I tried going in the fill hole with my return and it puked oil out all the time. This photo is for an H belly pump, not sure if M is the same.
