OK guys, tonight after the four year old goes to sleep going to work on my ten, setting bearing load adjustment on differential and axle bearings. The book says to tighten to 100 inch lbs, then 50,then 100,check clearance behind bolt heads, get average then add .015 to get shim pack. My question is,what does 100inch lbs eqaul in foot lbs,I figure a little over 8. Would anyone agree with that,or is this incorrect. The axle caps are to be torqued to 150inch lbs too, which comes out to about 12.5 ft lbs,I think. Would someone know if this right. Thanks, Kevin.
