I have two C-123 engines and both have dipsticks. I have owned several others in my lifetime and all had dipsticks. The C-123 engines used in the SC may not have had the dipstick, as that seemed to come with the numbered series tractors in 1954. I have one C-113 and have owned two others and none had dipsticks.
