Non detergent oil should only be used in air compressors where there is no combustible materials being compressed.
Use either 30 or 10W-30 detergent oil in your engine and it will give you many hours of trouble-free service.
If you are going to use it for snow plowing etc. in northern climates, switch to a 5W-30 for easier starting and quicker lubrication on cold days.
Don't forget to change the filter,too!
