Robert: I have fired up a 6 volt, Farmall 300, in 1956, at minus 40 F. I have only seen it that cold twice in my lifetime. I used to live very close to the 45th parallel, on the east coast of Canada. By the way 300 did start unassisted, the governors were frozen and couldn't change speed until engine warmed some. 300 also was only a year old at time. I don't think 26 is going to kill your weeds or bugs. A British immigrant once said to me, "a great country to kill off your bugs and weeds is Canada."
