There is other oils that are capatable with HYTRAN but it cost just a dollar or two less. For the money why not use the best? The so called hydraulic oils that are a lot cheaper don't have the addatives that HYtrans does and doesn't have the added protection form moisture, foaming adn antiwear.etc. Just ask the other guys if there oil will void any warrentys and see what they recommend. For old tractors it doesn't make any difference on warrenty but if they won't stand behind what they sell I don't want it.
