I just bought one for $200 . I was told that the engine had set up about 20 yrs ago, and they took the head off, covered the tractor to keep water out of the cylinders, and never got any farther. It came with a moldboard plow, and a mowing machine. That was about two months ago and the engine was set up, BUT, no more I put it undercover, put KROIL oil in the cylinders, and let it set a month while I finished my COOP E3 which was even worse , sat for about 40 years. Started the COOP up for the first time in 40 yrs about 3 weeks ago . MY ADVICE, GO FOR IT, I like a challenge. OH, the Farmall A does have a cracked block Behind the Carb, Not a Problem, I Know an expert welder.
