I've hauled several 5-6,000 lb tractors on a tandem axle car trailer pulled by a 68 Chev C-10 with 327 and automatic.Just took my time and had no problems.

Right now I have a 67 Ford Ranger F-100 352 V-8,C-6 auto with tranny cooler that someone converted to a F-250.I will soon be going 200 miles one way with it to haul home a 460 Farmall I just bought.Will go the back roads and take my time.
