Rodger I'm gonna try to help ya here. I totally disassenbled mine during rebuild, so some of what I tell you to take off you might not have to, but you should be able to tell what needs to come off as you go along. First Grille & radiator. Disconect steering & jack tractor up & block it under clutch housing just enough to clear the ground. Remove the four bolts that hold the front bolster on & roll it out of the way. That part is heavy, but not so heavy you can't handle it. This may or may not be a necessary step, but will make easier access to the front cover of the engine. Remove the fan. Your gonna have to remaove the governor & then the crank pulley, be careful becasue it will break if you pry on it. Use a bearing puller to do this. once ya get all that off remove the front cover bolts & the cover will come off. The seal goes in from the back side. I hope I have helped & not confused you too much. It sounds like a lot, but it's really not that bad. And if I have told you wrong I'm sure someone will correct me. Let me know if I can help ya anytime.....Gordon. P.S. and scotch those rear wheels so she don't roll on ya. Above all be safe.

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
