That kit will work. You can do it yourself for considerably less though, if you are handy with basic mechanical things. The hardest part is to fabricate an upper bracket - and even for me, it wasn't that difficult. A rebuilt 10SI alternator is about $39. One pilfered from a salvage yard might cost you less than half that amount - you pull. Misc wiring, indicator lamp, resistor, pulley, etc might cost you another $30. Do it right. Get good crimp terminals and a crimping tool. Your biggest other expense will be the new 12 volt battery.
