That kit will work. You can do it yourself for considerably less though, if you are handy with basic mechanical things. The hardest part is to fabricate an upper bracket - and even for me, it wasn't that difficult. A rebuilt 10SI alternator is about $39. One pilfered from a salvage yard might cost you less than half that amount - you pull. Misc wiring, indicator lamp, resistor, pulley, etc might cost you another $30. Do it right. Get good crimp terminals and a crimping tool. Your biggest other expense will be the new 12 volt battery. If you want to just do it the easy way, go with the kit they offer through these pages.
