When I bought my H fifteen years ago, I was using it on the spreader. In the winter, I had to let it sit and warm up for fifteen minutes before I could even begin to shift it. One day I decided to drain the trans. and change the oil. I pulled the plug and nothing happened. Not a drop came out. I took a piece of wire and tried to poke into the drain hole and couldn't penetrate the surface. I had to put the torpedo heater to it to get it warm enough to flow. I don't have the slightest idea what the previous owner put in there bought it was as thick as molasses. (no kidding) Got it all cleaned out and refilled with HyTran and the only problem I've had with it since was one winter I wasn't using it much and when I went to use it, it was stuck in third gear. I never did figure that one out. But its alright now. I haul a lot of fire wood with it.
