I just put the pulley back on my A this past weekend. I heated it in the oven to 450F for about an hour. It just slid right on the crank shaft. I had a bucket of water and wet rags ready. As soon as the pulley was on I put a wet rag on it by the seal and cooled it off. I have not started running the tractor yet to see if I damaged the new seal but from what I understand the seal will take the heat okay for a short time. Make sure the pulley is good and clean otherwise you will smell up the house when you heat it in the oven.
