Wow, now that is great. There isn't a tractor on my farm that has always hung around. Well, I guess our 856 was new but that's not as old as an SMTA. My grandpa is on his 4th or 5th M, has had it for about 20 or 30 years now, but the others either burned up or wore to a point where trading was profitable. Grandpa has custom corn picked with an M, SM, SMTA, 450, and 560. It is quite facinating the stories he has with those tractors, and I'm sure your family can dig up some stories about a legendary tractor that has stayed on the farm. Thanks for the post.
