I think I am the guy you are referring to. I agree that plowing snow backwards is a pain in the neck but also can be very dangerous. I have to show safety videos to the hourly employees at work and there is a clip on a video where a guy driveing a hi-lo is driveing backwards on a shipping dock and goes right over the edge of the loading dock where a big truck would park. THe guy was barreling along at about 10mph in reverse and the hilo ended up at almost straight vertical, oops.
