H Rear Axle Bearing Removal

I took the rear axle housing off my H to replace the leaking gasket. After I got in there, I noticed that there are 3 balls missing from the inner axle bearing. I did find all the pieces of bearing and retainer, but I cannot get the axle out of the housing. My question is, How do you get the axle out of the housing and then how do you get the bearing out of the housing? Are these pressed in or do they just fit tight? Thanks, Larry
